Above, “The Street.” Below, “Telegraph Road”

Believe in me, baby, and I’ll take you away
From out of this darkness and into the day
From these rivers of headlights, these rivers of rain
From the anger that lives on the streets with these names
Cause I’ve run every red light on memory lane
I’ve seen desperation explode into flames
And I don’t want to see it again

From all of these signs saying,
“Sorry, but we’re closed”
All the way
Down the telegraph road

That’s one of my “Loud Songs”…. In the category of NO ONE SHALL DARE DISTURB THE DAD WHEN BEING PLAYED…Fortunately, no one has ever tested that maxim.

For they know and love their Hubby/Daddy.

And I am VERY loud. The live version is glorious.

The album that was on, Love Over Gold, was their crowning artistic achievement IMO. And Telegraph Road was the best song on it….once again IMO.

It may well be your opinion, but you are not wrong.
